Meiringen Ski Trip

Meiringen is a delightful, traditional old village, which is famous in Switzerland for being the place where Sherlock Holmes met his doom. It is also an excellent place for the sweet toothed connoisseur as this is the place where the Meringue was invented and is widely available to sample in a variety of guises in the local cafes and restaurants. It is also the gateway village to a ski area that offers picturesque skiing both above and below the tree line and is particularly suited to beginner and intermediate skiers.

Resort
The ski area is accessed by cable car taking only 5 minutes to reach the level of the pistes. A gondola continues from here to Bidmi at 1423m, from where there is a choice of descents either back to Hasliberg Reuti or to Hasliberg-Wasserwendi.

Snowboarding
Snowboarders in Meiringen-Hasliberg can enjoy a beautiful freestyle park with jumps to 20m high with a natural boarder cross.
