Description

Another excellent three star hotel located right in the heart of the resort and owned by the same family that runs the Hotel Union. It is 100m from the cable car that takes you up to the Marilleva and Madonna di Compiglio ski networks. Beautifully decorated in a traditional alpine style this hotel has 90 rooms all of which are en-suite including: telephone, safe and hair dryer. There is a café/bar, TV room, 3 communal rooms and a games room to keep the children entertained.

Location

Ski here and you'll find three different Italian villages: Madonna di Campiglio (chic, old world and expensive), Marilleva (ugly, purpose built and convenient), and Folgarida (small, charming and friendly). All link together well and unlike some of the other linked resorts in Europe manage to stay true to their roots by not becoming ‘international’. There is a new six man chair which really improves Marilleva, and the link to Madonna di Campiglio has a new four man chair.
The hands-free lift-pass means no more taking off gloves and fumbling in pockets. The natural snow is excellent because of the local micro-climate and north and east facing slopes make for great skiing; they have really good snow-making facilities too.
The lower runs are protected by the trees and stay open throughout the season.
