Claviere Ski Trip

The resort of Claviere is right on the French Italian border in the Susa valley and is an entry point into the Milky Way. The traditional Italian mountain village of Claviere is a charming mix of old and new, set amidst a breathtaking backdrop, it is all you could ever want in a ski resort.

The resort height is 1760m and the top station is 2409m so the snow conditions are generally very good. As Claviere is part of the Milky Way ski area it has access to 598 pistes. The pistes in the resort are very varied and attractive, curving through the trees and all the way down to the village. There is a very good beginner area with nursery slopes and green runs and for the more experienced skiers there are plenty of reds, blacks and off piste for the more adventurous types.

Claviere is a very relaxed and quiet resort with friendly and hospitable residents, and a number of shops, restaurants, bars and even a natural ice rink. Italy’s oldest resort is perfect for your school trip.
