Bardonecchia Ski Trip
from £655 pp
A top class ski area with an excellent record for snow!
The former Olympic resort of Bardonecchia is situated in Italy on the French-Italian border. The town is not a purpose built ski resort, and the old part of the town is typically Alpine.
It is a top class ski area, with an excellent record for snow. It is higher than a lot of resorts, starting at 1,300m, and with skiing extending up to 2,750 m. Most of the skiing is above 1,500 m, and the beginners’ area in particular is at this height. The slopes face predominantly north, which is a major advantage in conserving snow cover. There is good progression from the beginner slopes to the intermediate level, and beyond, and you can be sure that your students will ski/board as much of the mountain as they are capable of.
The resort was totally revamped for the 2006 Olympics and as a result has a state of the art accommodation centre with a games room including table football and ping pong and fitness centre complete with swimming pool and sauna.
