Loon ski resort provides great terrain for skiers and boarders whatever their ability, it has been carefully developed to suit all. Recently the mountain has widened its ski area by opening the South Peak and adding two new chair lifts and three trails. Beginners are well catered for at Loon ski resort with the "get good quick'' teaching method. Intermediates meanwhile will benefit from the addition of some more challenging trails at the summit. Experts have the amazing skiing of the North Peak. Out of the 49 trails 17% are beginner runs, 67% are intermediate runs, and 16% are advanced runs. There is a great après-ski in Loon with shops and restaurants, and activities such as bowling, cinema, ice skating and swimming.
