Bardonecchia is situated in Italy on the French-Italian border, within a couple of kilometres of the exit of the Frejus tunnel, one of the main transit routes from north-west Europe to Italy and Slovenia. The main road totally bypasses the town, and one would only be aware of it if going to ski at the far side of the resort, Jafferau. The resort is approximately 100 km east of Turin.

Flaine is one of the closest purpose built ski resorts to the UK and as a result is extremely popular with UK school groups.The resort is situated in the Grand Massif ski area, which is made up by 5 interconnected resorts (Flaine, Morillon, Samoens, Sixt, Les Carroz) offers a massive 265km of well groomed ski-able piste, making it the 4th largest in France.
Being so close to the famous Mount Blanc gives the added advantage of creating a natural microclimate, which gives these resorts some of the best snow records in France.

Sella Nevea is a ski resort on the border with Slovenia in the municipality of Chiusaforte, located at 1200 meters altitude, at the foot of the splendid granite massif of Canin and directly under the Conca Prevala.
